Demystifying Hawaii's legislative process

Faith Action’s Environmental Justice Task Force is sponsoring a webinar entitled,

“Demystifying the Legislative Process,” on Feb. 5 from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm that is open to

all interested persons.

The webinar will consist of a PowerPoint presentation by John Kawamoto, a legislative

analyst for 10 years with the State House and the legislative affairs director for the

Healthcare Association of Hawaii for another 10 years.

The presentation will include explanations of key terms, major bill deadlines, identifying

key legislators for your bill(s), testimony, and advocacy basics.
